During both Sunday services we have a Nursery (ages 3 months-3 years) and Preschool- Kindergarten classes available for children. For grades 1st-5th we switch things up to keep it exciting, please click here for more details.

Nursery

3 months-3 years old

  • Connector.

In this age group children experience play time, Bible stories, songs, snacks and snuggles.

  • Connector.

We understand that many children in this age group are not accustomed to being left by Mom and Dad, it is our goal to work with parents so their little ones have a great time.

  • Connector.

It would be helpful to the nursery staff if you label any items that accompany your child to the nursery (e.g. diaper bags, sippy cups, bottles).

  • Connector.

Many parents choose to keep their children with them in service during this phase, we support parents in this decision. If your child gets restless the sermon can be heard in the lobby, if service isn’t working out for your family we encourage you to try the Nursery.

  • Connector.

Changing stations for parents are available in both bathrooms.

  • Connector.

Any mother who needs privacy for feeding is welcome to use the room in the women’s bathroom and listen to the sermon there. Chairs and a changing station available in there as well.

Preschool

3 years old-Kindergarten

  • Connector.

This age group is typically broken down into two classes; 3-4 years old and 5 years old-Kindergarten.

  • Connector.

During drop-off children will have free play or a fun activity at the table while they get acclimated to the room.

  • Connector.

Children will have the opportunity to listen to the Bible story, sing songs, watch an animated retelling of the story, eat a snack and do fun activities that go along with the story.

  • Connector.

Every week your child will come home with a coloring page, a memory verse card and a family page so you may continue the learning at home.

  • Connector.

The Bible we use in this age group is the Beginner’s Bible, it is a great resource to have at home and we are happy to provide one to any family who needs it.

  • Connector.

If your child needs the bathroom during class time they will be walked there by the Hall Monitor. If your child is potty training, you may check in through the Hall Monitor, or we’ll notify you.

  • A parent or guardian must sign in each child. Every child/parent must have a name tag with a matching family #. You will find your name tags each week in the racks on the right wall as you enter the lobby from outside.
  • If you are here for the first time or a visitor, you can sign yourself and your child in at the Welcome Center which is in front of the center wall as you enter the lobby from the outside.
  • We will release your child only to the adult which has the matching number of the child on their name tag.
  •  If your child needs you during the service, your family # will appear on the screens at the front of the worship area.
  •  Unless you direct otherwise, your child will receive a snack (Nursery-Goldfish or Cheerios, 3yrs-Kindergarten- Goldfish or Animal Crackers) and water. We will pay careful attention to what allergies your child may have, and we will limit the snacks so as not to spoil their appetites. Any children who cannot eat one of the snacks above are welcome to bring a small snack with them to class. Anytime a special treat is provided parents will be notified by the teacher.
  • If your child has any special needs including potty training and allergies please notify their teacher.
  • It is very helpful if you take your child to the bathroom prior to dropping them off at class.

JUMPSTART (1st Grade-5th Grade)

We think this phase of life is so exciting, and we are passionate about partnering with parents. We have caring volunteers ready to meet your child and exciting programs planned. Your children being safe, feeling loved, learning truth and having fun is very important to us, therefore, we perform background checks, train and equip our Children’s Ministry Volunteers and Staff.

All teaching is based on 3 main concepts taken from Luke 2:52:

Wisdom – I need to make the wise choice

Faith – I can trust God no matter what

Friendship – I should treat others the way I want to be treated
