Lead Pastor – MARK A. BEARD
From the time he was a kid to a pre-med college student studying chemistry, Mark has wanted to help people. But rather than heal people physically, God called him to help people heal spiritually. He loves preaching and teaching the truth of God’s Word as it cuts away the diseased parts of our lives and brings the healing hope of Jesus into damaged, discouraged hearts. While finishing his chemistry degree, God brought the love of his life into his world – Rebecca. They’ve been married since 1991 and have four wonderful children. After finishing his chemistry degree, he earned a Master of Divinity and served churches in NC, WV, and PA. He and his family have been at CCCS since 2005.

As a Director of Community Outreach his desire is to show individuals God’s love through discipleship and giving back to the community. Stan is on staff to help our mission in glorifying God in our community by making disciples of Jesus Christ who passionately love God and one another.
Stan also has a degree in Exercise Science with numerous certifications and attended Grace Bible College to obtain his business degree.
worship leader – amy way
Amy has been serving as the Worship Leader at CCCS since November 2018. A Pennsylvania College of Technology graduate, she holds a degree in Business Administration Management with a minor in International Business. Amy and her husband Brandon have five amazing children. When Amy was fifteen years old, God ignited a passion for worship in her at a youth conference. He has been growing, molding and stretching her ever since. Her favorite thing about worshipping is when you’re in that moment of worship, totally surrendered, nothing else matters, no one else matters. It is just you and God, raw and real.
Women’s Ministry – BECKY YODER
Becky has served alongside her husband, Bud, at CCCS since September of 1981. She has been his wife for 54 years. They have six children, 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Becky loves what God has allowed her to do here at CCCS. She loves opportunities to see the kids and grandones. She would like to make her life statement one that is taken from an old song she was reacquainted with recently. “It’s just another day in the life of a child of God, walkin down the road where the Savior trod.” What an exciting path!
STUDENT MINISTRY – ALEX BLAKELY
Alex grew up in a small town about twenty minutes outside of St. Louis, Missouri. In high school, he planned on going to school to become a corporate lawyer but soon realized God had a different plan for him. He attended Ozark Christian College in Joplin, Missouri, where God placed it on his heart to work with and invest in students. He moved to Williamsport to work for CCCS in August of 2019. Alex loves playing sports and traveling. He has visited over twenty countries and has a goal to visit all seven continents.

She grew up on her family’s farm outside of Williamsport and attended Mansfield University to pursue degrees in both mass communication: public relations and organizational communication. Megan enjoys spending time with family, especially her nieces and nephew, and loves music.
And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
While God and the Bible are the ultimate authority for The Christian Church at Cogan Station, there is a leadership structure to keep the day-to- day operations and ministry of the church moving correctly. The leadership of CCCS has a few integral parts. CCCS is first and foremost an elder-led church. The elders provide oversight, vision, and guidance to the corporate side of the church and most importantly the spiritual side of the church. The elders’ leadership is expressed through the ministry of the staff. Lead Pastor Mark Beard provides the leadership and everyday decision making for the staff and also serves as an elder. The staff is made up of full-time ministry staff, full-time support staff, and part-time ministry and support staff. The Christian Church at Cogan Station leadership ensures that everything that is done honors Jesus as Lord and Savior and lifts Him up as the true Leader of His Church.
